What Buyers are Saying

I purchased this to use on a camping trip with my son’s scout troop. I have a MedRes 10 CPAP machine and I use the DC converter cable (Car Adapter Cable). I turned off the hose temp and humidity control as recommended by my Dr. to save battery usage. The Aimtom battery indicator has 6 bars to show how charged it is and I’ve used it for my CPAP for two full nights (8+ hours) and I still have 4 bars left. After the first day I thought the charge indicator was broken because it still showed fully charges after 8 1/2 hours of use but I wanted to test it to see just how long it would last on one charge so I didn’t charge it. I’ve only used it two nights so far but with 4 bars left I expect it to last another 2-3 nights which is incredible. The other batteries online were advertising 2 nights and cost in some cases 3-4 times as much. I’m very impressed with the performance so far and look forward to using it on the camping trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What solar panel can I use to charge this power station?

Use DC 13V-22V solar panel to charge AIMTOM SPS-155. We recommend AIMTOM ASP-60 60W solar panel. Note that its input charging port is 5.5mm jack. If your solar panel’s output is MC4 connectors, you will need to get a MC4-to-5.5mm convert cable.

  • Can it power my CPAP machine for 7+ hours?

While you can certainly use its AC port to power your CPAP, we strongly recommend you can get a DC converter for your CPAP machine to get longer runtime. Plugging your CPAP DC converter to AIMTOM SPS-155’s DC port (car cigarette lighter socket type), it is expected to get 8+ hours runtime with CPAP humidifier/heater being switched off.

  • Can I re-charge this power station and use it to charge other device at the same time?

Yes, it supports pass-through charging which means that it has the ability to charge itself and charge devices at the same time.

  • Is it waterproof?

No, AIMTOM SPS-155 is not rated as waterproof.

  • Can I fly with it?

You will need to get ‘airline approval’. Commercial airlines allow max 100Wh without approval. 100-160 Wh range would require ‘airline approval’ prior to flying. This AIMTOM SPS-155 is 155Wh therefore you will need to contact your airline to get approved before getting on board.

  • Can I use this indoors during a power outage?

Yes, you can use indoors during a power outage to your smartphones, tablet, laptop, LED light etc.

  • Can it power my coffee maker?

This AIMTOM SPS-155 AC output is 100W continuously. It can’t power a coffee maker or water heater which requires much higher power than 100W.

This product is incredible, powered my CPAP while camping and changed the sleeping game when in the tent! Highly recommend!

  2. Joel Atwood

    Well worth the money 😊
Using when camping off grid for phones, iPad etc… incredible charge life! Haven’t hooked up with solar panel yet as it has held enough charge from charging at home before leaving for a week or so.

  3. HappyDad

I got this over about 1 year ago. I LOVE IT. Very usefull for camping, photography, laptops and other mobile devices. Also great for in house use in case of emergency and work arround the house (i use it for my wired power drill) oh and also very compact and lightweight.

  4. Dennis A. Strong

Great battery life and small !
I used for cpap. After camping and using for three nights, battery gage hardly dropped!

  5. mathieu

Excellente service, efficace. Au-delà de nos attentes.

  6. Stevioman

I used for my CPAP machine – worked great!
If using for CPAP make sure to get direct DC cable for your machine – I was able to get 4 nights no problem (Camping). I might have been able to get 1 more day but didn’t need it.

    What should be changed…
It would be handy if the unit had a power switch where you could turn the whole unit off.. I inadvertently tapped the flashlight when packing up so it was on for 5 hours. Wasted power.

Also the power left meter would be better if it was percentage instead of just a bar of what is left.
Not sure of how much to trust what the bar symbolizes.

Well worth the money used it camping for three days and didn’t even need to recharge it. And it’s was used to charge phones, air up beds, water raft, etc.

I bought to use with my CPAP. Needed a small option for a couple night float trip. Charged it up and tested at home before using in the field. I used it without the humidifier and used the cpap dc cord rather than going through the inverter. Got 4 nights, each about 6 to 8 hours. The 5th night I got about 4.5 to 5 hours before it died. Seems like it will be a great option to carrying a heavy deep cycle RV battery for short camping trips.

I feel obligated to give an honest review of this product. I was having difficulty finding an affordable, light weight and portable power source for my CPAP machine. Since being on CPAP, I have not been able to fully enjoy the outdoors like I used to, specifically camping in a tent. Speaking to various CPAP manufacturers and RTs really got me nowhere; portable power options did exist but were very expensive and complicated. When I saw this, I took the chance and ordered one.

The unit came almost fully charged, in perfect condition, lighter and smaller than I imagined. I tried two different CPAP machines over the course of two nights at home. First night using a ResmedAirsense 10 with humidifier, powered the machine approximately 5 hours. I was warned that using the humidifier would quickly drain the Aimtom. Next night, with the generator fully charged (took only a few hours), I used my portable machine, the Resmed Air Mini (without humidifier), and after a complete night’s sleep of 8 hours, I still had over 3/4 full battery life. I was very impressed and figure I could easily get at least 3 nights use with the Air Mini. No adapter cords, just plug right in and use. No issues with power loss now either.

I will continue to play with this and use it, and look forward to purchasing the solar package as well. I know it works great for many portable power options, but for CPAP users, I think it will be great. Hope this helps.

  10. David Dubord

Bought it for my CPAP machine(Philips DreamStation). Turn off humidifier, my pression is 5 and the pack gave me 3 full night of sleep(8h). 24h total! The battery is really small, about half the size of my dreamstation or a car battery, very light. Be careful tho, the fan is automated and can start every 2 seconds. So it’skindarepeatitive noisy annoying. I sleep with earplugs and could ear it a little but I re-oriented it so I couldn’t ear it anymore. I hope it will last years and I know that if it loses 33% of it’s charge I will still have 2 full nights of sleep.

Fantastic! I bought this to power my CPAP while camping and charged it up when it came and tested it last night at home. I have no idea if this matters but I bought a 3-foot hose and the DC adapter for my machine. After using it for 7 hrs, it still had lots of power according to the battery level indicator and if it’s correct, I should be able to get 2-3 nights out of a single charge. It’s also a perfect size to fit in my panniers on my motorcycle. The build quality is great and it is half the price of the battery from the CPAP store and has so many more uses. Here is a tip I am not sure if anyone has mentioned. Since I am using this camping and it’ll be left behind while I go off and do stuff, I will lock it up to something through the handle while it charges. That is a bonus for the handle.

I LOVE THIS THING! I’m still on the first charge….but I’ve charged cell phones and tablets, I’ve inflated air mattresses and used the flashlight and the battery meter still says it’s full.

I’m really excited to be able to send it with my son to scout camp so that he can have access to light weight portable power.

I bought this or camping but I think I’ll be getting a few more and a solar panel and put them in the bug out bags.

The product is MUCH more compact than I expected. Arrived almost fully charged, and I was able to get it fully charged in a couple of hours using the included AC charger. VERY well made. I’ve used a number of older technology batteries (e.g. SLA) in the past and this unit is light years ahead in terms of size, capacity, and features. The 12v 5.5mm plugs are perfect for my applications. Note that the unit has a fan which is intermittent at low power draws (becoming continuous at high power). The fan is not loud, and not an issue for my applications, but may be an issue in very quiet environments. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow! Talk about a vendor determined to make the customer happy! I use a CPAP machine and am about to depart on a 70-day trip, some of which will be primitive camping (no electricity). This “solar generator” interested me because it can charge directly from a solar panel. I know little about solar – I live in the big woods – but adding this option to car charging was very attractive. I also ordered a well-rated 50 watt solar panel. After consulting with Aimtom and the panel tech people I also ordered an Aimtom direct to solar panel connector (MC 4 on Solar side and 5mm round on Aimtom side).

Unfortunately, my solar panel may have been too much for the Aimtom, or, it is incompatible in some other way I’m unaware of, and, after a few hours in partial sunlight, the Aimtom no longer charged by any method. That is NOT a slam on the Aimtom; their specs say there is a limit to the input and I (unknowingly) exceeded that limit. Long story shorter; I returned the Aimtom via UPS on Tuesday, sent the tracking number to Aimtom and they immediately sent me a replacement, which I received Thursday! I could get a smaller, say 30-watt, panel, in the future and hook it directly, we’ll see (how much am I willing to spend for additional gear?) and; for now I’m happy to have this along. DO LOOK HARD AT THIS PRODUCT: looks and feels very durable, it can provide DC (cigarette lighter-style), USB and household (2 -3 prong& international) output and it runs my CPAP for around 12 hours (no humidity)! I would also contact Aimtom for solar panel input; they provided an example of a product other customers use successfully (and, no; not one of their products). BOTTOM LINE: HI QUALITY VENDOR AND PRODUCT!!

We get a lot of power outages when storms come through here in the mountains. This power station has proven to be very handy for all of these outages that we get. We’ve powered our laptops, fans, and lamps with it. We’ve charged our laptops and cellphones with it.

Out of curiosity I plugged a toaster oven into it, the watt consumption is much higher than what the power station provides and shuts the power station off. This was to make sure the power station would protect itself and any item you plug in that requires too many watts.

We are able to power a 15″ laptop for 4 hours. A box fan will run for 3 hours. I’ve not found the time limit on the lamp since we are using an LED light bulb in it. Recharging the power station takes about 6 hours.
